Abstract:
The article examines the preferences of Vietnamese small-scale shrimp farmers for advanced aquaculture practices and active aquaculture development policies to encourage wastewater treatment and the use of antibiotics. The results of the mixed logit and latent class models showed that farmers prefer good aquaculture practices in shrimp farming over traditional types, and the risk reduction and economic benefits of good aquaculture practices attract shrimp farmers.
