Abstract:
In computational processing, a cache is a high-speed storage layer that holds a temporary set of data. Access to data at this level is much faster than to the main storage location. With the growth of mobile data traffic in wireless networks, the cache is used to adapt to the needs of device users and to minimize the traffic load on macro base stations. Storing data in caches on user terminals and small base stations has problems with the selection of cache contents. This study explores the possibility of applying a multipurpose cache strategy to maximize cache hit rates on mobile networks.
