Abstract:
This article examines the impact of two types of government R&D subsidies on innovation using data from Chinese listed companies from 20XX to 20XX. The results show that, compared with ex-post rewards, ex-ante grants have a better effect on the effectiveness of innovation by stimulating private investment in R&D.
