Abstract:
Phormidium keutzingianum performed biodesalination of brackish water (10 g/L). The electrical conductivity (EC) was measured to evaluate the salt concentration over 80 days of cyanobacterial inoculation. Anion concentrations were measured using ion chromatography to estimate salt removal.
