Abstract:
The article analyzes whether bilateral trade between two countries leads to foreign direct investment (FDI) using time series data covering the period 20XX–20XX. The results show that bilateral trade (imports from China) is the main determinant of Chinese FDI inflows to Ethiopia during the study period.
