Abstract:
The article examines a complex adaptive system for managing the supply network of a circular economy. This framework is composed of three key elements, governance mechanisms, internal and external environments and emerging properties, as well as three sets of propositions that link each of these key elements to different configurations of supply chain management of a circular economy that dynamically adapt to internal and external ones. changes in the environment. The framework also introduces two types of leverage points, one upstream and one downstream, in which agents with different roles and positions may be responsible for coordinating or initiating a post-consumption product or physical reverse flow of by-products, pooling sourcing and customer strategies.
