Abstract:
In this paper, we suggest that the home, as a hybrid matrix of bodies, spaces and objects, enacts the smooth running of the domestic together with practices of domestic and family violence, including coercive control. To test this hypothesis, we examine how individuals exposed to domestic violence and coercive control adapt to changes inflicted by the pandemic and how it affects their mental health.
