Abstract:
Comparing audiovisual integration of emotional cues between individuals with low vs. high trait anxiety, we aimed to determine whether individuals in the high anxiety group were more sensitive to specific categories of emotions, especially those threat-related. The disadvantages of such multisensory tuning were also discussed.
