Abstract:
Remediation is a very important process in treating children with learning disabilities. This article will talk about techniques of remediation used in a practical study case of an ADHD child aiming on enhancing the development of underdeveloped functions. The main objective of the remediation process is to create, together with the patient, a work which integrates the mediation elements that are meaningful to the child and that are part of his experiences in life. This work will include definitions of remediation, theory of activity and zone of proximal development as well as explanations of the study case, a 7-year-old boy with a hypothesis of ADHD.
