Abstract:
ADHD syndrome is one of most frequent diagnosis given to children of pre-school and school age according to DSM-IV/V. Normally, specialists describe only diverse negative symptoms related to the function of attention. According to qualitative neuropsychological perspective, it’s possible not only to describe difficulties, but also to determine specific factors, which joint all this difficulties from the point of view of functional participation of brain mechanisms in children’s activity. This idea is related to the concept of neuropsychological syndrome, which offers the possibility to analyses manifestation of difficulties on different levels from interdisciplinary perspective. The goal of this chapter is to present data of results of qualitative clinic neuropsychological assessment together with conclusions of qualitative analysis of EEG as essential components of analysis of neuropsychological syndrome.
