Abstract:
This paper analyses interactions between professor and student in design studio classrooms and art classrooms, where the student’s created work is the central focus. The goal is to identify interactional mechanisms that attribute agency to the creative work of students. Understanding whereby creative agency distributes between the student and their unfolding work will facilitate the development of creativity.
