Abstract:
Using an interview questionnaire, we examined the relationship between shame and social anxiety (SA) among shame-prone and confident individuals. We also investigated whether this association was impacted by cultural or diagnostic differences. The results contribute to the understanding of the role of shame in the treatment of social anxiety disorder.
