Abstract:
In this study, we discuss schema-focused therapy from a network perspective. From this perspective, schema modes (i.e., healthy or dysfunctional patterns of co-occurring emotions, cognitions, and behaviours) are interconnected as a network and mutually influence each other. We explore the recent pieces of evidence found in this field to provide an understanding of the relative influence of schema modes.
