Abstract:
The current paper analyses why racism is still a thing in certain countries and what role do media outlets play here. We discuss racism in regard to police actions and investigate the trend for media headlines depicting police officers as racially biased individuals. The goal is to determine if media coverage is responsible for fueling the negative attitudes towards police officers, which potentially can lead to conflicts between them and the minority population.
