Abstract:
We here examine whether work passion can be contagious and “spread” to others. We identify factors that may promote passion contagion at work. The major focus is on social relationships between workers, formal (supervisory) and informal (trust-based). In addition, we consider direct and indirect (through common third-parties) avenues through which passion contagion may occur.
