Abstract:
An extended course of metronidazole treatment recommended for recurrent bacterial vaginosis (BV) may be ineffective. This study seeks to find the likely reasons behind its failure. For this, we investigated how the recommended treatment affects the vaginal microbiome among patients with recurrent BV.
