Abstract:
ECOZEN®T110 (EZT), as a bio-based polyester has been used to improve the glass transition temperature (Tg) and thermal shape stability of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). In this study, we examine the usability of (PET)/EZT blends as an alternative material to manufacture hot-filling bottles. The advantages and disadvantages of this type of material were discussed.
Keywords:
Bio-based polyester; High glass transition temperature; Hot-filling PET bottle; Injection stretch blow molding; Miscible blend
