Abstract:
This study assesses the bacterial colonization in oral mucositis patients undergoing radiotherapy and concomitant chemotherapy. The isolated bacterial colonies were subjected to gene expression and analysis. Bacterial colonization and gene expression varied during different stages of mucositis.
