Abstract:
We investigate the efficacy and safety of several biodegradable customized scaffolds as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disc substitutes, particularly the Poly(glycerol sebacate) (PGS) scaffold reinforced with electrospun Poly(?caprolactone) (PCL) fibers (PGS+PCL); PCL and polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA); and PCL.
