Abstract:
This study examines whether necrotic enteritis leads to intestinal mycobiota disruption in chicken and determines the role of disease severity. Necrotic enteritis was found to induce mycobiota dysbiosis and its extent is positively correlated with disease severity. Hence, the intestinal mycobiota could be involved in the pathogenesis of necrotic enteritis.
