Abstract:
We quantify the epidemiological effect of comprehensive community-wide campaign against tuberculosis (TB). For this, a compartmental model was developed resembling TB transmission and epidemiology of a specific city. The one-time campaign encompasses community-wide screening, TB treatment and preventive therapy for latent TB infection. We also assessed the contributions of each said component.
