Abstract:
We assess the performance two noninvasive tests for advanced fibrosis (AF), particularly the fibrosis-4 index (FIB-4) and NAFLD fibrosis scores (NFS). Patients were diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. The results suggest that currently available noninvasive tests have a limited performance in identifying AF among patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
