Abstract:
Using a cross-sectional study design, the present study assesses the predictive value of adipose dysfunction markers for the early screening of metabolic syndrome in older male and female populations. Gender played a key role on the prediction of metabolic syndrome by adipose dysfunction markers in institutionalized elderly.
