Abstract:
This study investigates whether randomized controlled trials meet a demand for data on the efficacy of innovative heath technologies, sucgh as mobile health technologies. The results show that this method is too slow to collect hot data. We also suggest solutions to speed up the evaluation process, which imply identifying the behaviour intervention principles involved and tracking in-app usage data.
