Abstract:
This papers reviews the predictors and clinical manifestation of the long-term sequelae appearing or persisting after the typical COVID-19 recovery period. Challenges for its management were also addressed. The key message is that most patients with long COVID will be managed in conjunction with pre-existing or new co-morbidities, which, in turn, may increase the burden of COVID-19 on primary healthcare.
