Abstract:
This review highlights the potential role of probiotics in fighting the COVID-19 by addressing rthe association between probiotics, immune-modulator and antiviral agents, and microbiota in patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Given the absence of conclusive remedies, and because of the pleiotropic effect of probiotics, their application seems reasonable. Yet, further research in this field is critical.
