Abstract:
The authors used a multi-dimensional scale for assessing cough, whch covers aspects such as intensity, frequency, physical impact, psychosocial impacts and sputum characteristics. Sputum information included volume, appearance, and hemoptysis. The results were compared with the outcome of other commonly used scales, such as the visual analogue scale (VAS) and the Leicester Cough Questionnaire (LCQ).
