Abstract:
We evaluate the efficacy and safety of oral sitafloxacin versus levofloxacin in patients with acute urinary tract infections (UTIs). Findings at test-of-cure (TOC) visit revealed that oral sitafloxacin was as effective and safe as levofloxacin. It showed similar clinical cure rate and bacterial eradication rate. Hence, it can serve as a promising alternative treatment option.
