Abstract:
The study seeks to investigate whether DNA methylation of the OPRM1 and ALDH2 promoters are associated with alcohol sensitivity in men. For this, the bisulfite pyrosequencing method was used. We also extablished factors affecting the DNA methylation levels, particularly smoking. Age had no significant effect.
