Abstract:
We evaluate the effects of loosened regulations in the field of take-home medication on patient outcomes in Opioid Use Disorder treatment. A convenience sample of patients were recruited in 20XX for a cross-sectional survey integrating clinical records, including urine drug test results, and emergency department (ED) visits at the local hospital. The increase in take-home doses was not associated with negative treatment outcomes in methadone-adherent clients.
