Abstract:
Using the functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), the current study investigates cue-reactivity to shopping-related and control cues in individuals diagnosed with buying-shopping disorder. Outside the scanner, symptoms of buying-shopping disorder and craving reactions towards shopping (before and after the cue-reactivity paradigm) were assessed via questionnaires.
