Abstract:
To address the value of urine drug screening for opioid use disorder treatment, we examine how often it yields expected and unexpected results. The paper presents an analysis of urine drug screen results in primary care patients with opioid use disorder. The majority of patients had expected urine results; hence, it may be reasonable for less frequent urine testing in certain patients.
