Abstract:
Enjoyable thermal feelings, high work performance, and low-prevalence sick building syndrome (SBS) have the highest priority in creating indoor environments. Nonetheless, few studies provide clear optimal temperature ranges with full consideration of gender differences with respect to the three above-mentioned characteristics. The main objective of this study is to investigate optimal temperature ranges with enjoyable comfort, productive performance, and low SBS prevalence for both male and female students in university classrooms.
