Abstract:
Stream production is the most efficient form of organization of production for mass production of products, which ensures high growth in labor productivity, continuity of the production process and a high level of quality. A feature of the organization of continuous production at the present stage is the management of large groups of people and the dynamics of the development of industrial sectors, that is, the rapid displacement of types of products. The results of this streaming manufacturing study show that streaming shop performance can be improved by applying the right combination of workload measures, load balancing, and order dispatching. An in-depth analysis of the reasons for the performance improvement was carried out. This study clarifies some of the potential for improving the check and release mechanisms that are used in production lines.
