Abstract:
Today, container terminals play an important role in the development of the transport industry and the economy as a whole. The place of this or that country in the world market of transport services depends on the level of competitiveness of container terminals. The competitiveness of container terminal operators is influenced by a number of factors that either form the competitive advantages of container terminal operators or have a limiting effect on their competitiveness. To improve the efficiency of container terminals, an iterative approach to optimizing modeling looks promising to integrate the site allocation problem with the vehicle congestion problem.
