Abstract:
This paper reviews the studies that have been classified in terms of objectives, context of application, approach to modeling, software tools and technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Operational research methods and models as applied mathematics are found in fields of application in many disciplines as well as in industrial engineering. Todays industrial engineering tasks are more widespread, but focus on productivity and all the technical issues of production management and control, as well as financial and economic implications.
