Abstract:
Dry weight and footprint minimization of FPSO processing plants designed for a high CO2 oil field was conducted by integrating sensitivity analysis and genetic algorithm-based optimization. An asymptotic behavior between oil production and equipment dry weight or footprint occurred, demonstrating the possibility of achieving near maximum oil production while significantly reducing equipment dry weight and footprint.
