Abstract:
The article examines the Japanese experience in the implementation of program thinking in primary school in the field of compulsory education to increase the trend in the development of IT skills in society, necessary for successful employment. The problematic issues arising in connection with the interdisciplinary educational policy in Japan in relation to art, in particular, to music, are investigated. Extensive content analysis of Japanese original sources on playing programming with music is used in elementary schools across the country. The goals, approaches and content of educational activities and programs lend themselves to research. The research shows that there is a contradiction between flexible and high-quality preparation of compositional activities and IT terms used in music.
