Abstract:
The study views Additive Manufacturing (AM) as a standard for greater freedom and productivity in design, which is expected to increase the presence of creativity in every product. However, waiting for the results of creativity can limit the designers actions. It has been found that designers often lack support in intending to use all the capabilities of AM. There is a gap in the literature regarding the problems of managing the large degrees of freedom provided by the AM (DfAM). This study seeks to find out how to fully support designers in the use of their abilities.
