Abstract:
The research is devoted to the study of the history of formation and methodology of the Hong Kong noir style in the framework of the approach to the formation of the global history of cinema. It examines the supposed two phases of the formation of Hong Kong noir, as a category of film criticism from Kowloon Noir to Hong Kong neo-noir. The study covers changes in the views of noir production of Hong Kong film companies in synchronic and diachronic cuts and tries to fill in numerous inaccuracies and problems in the history of the study. this aesthetic trend.
