Abstract:
The study looks at social learning in the communities around start-ups and their overall ecosystem in Australia. In this country, start-ups are considered a key factor in further economic growth and are in the sphere of government interests. The study aims to look at start-up communities as social learning systems and determine the place of social learning in their target ecosystem. Interviews and thematic analysis with theoretical support are used. The results indicate that the role of startups is to provide a discussion and communication point for direct social interactions. These interactions form the identity of the entire community and its individual members, reinforcing the worldview and setting the social structure.
