Abstract:
Looking at South Korean and Turkish television dramas as leaders in global competition in recent decades is particularly interesting when comparing the performance of Korean dramas in the Turkish television market. Turkish dramas are successful in more than 140 countries around the world, which indicates both the constant updating of products and the success and demand for remakes of past products. Korean drama in Turkey, the study proves, has replaced Hollywood film production in a similar segment. The study examines aspects of industrial filmmaking in terms of the performance of industry leaders.
