Abstract:
The lack of representation of women in cinema is a significant issue in contemporary cinematography. Example 20XX The screen of Australia launching the Gender Program is insufficient because the representation of older women remains low. The study looks at how female characters over 65 can be presented as complex, empowered, and interesting. Using Seans reflective practice in parallel with Denscombes action exploration model to present a film script as an extraordinary artifact of exploratory practice. Such research includes a field study of the scene, a review of the literature on gender and the representation of women in cinema, and the identification of principles that influence the creation of older female characters of the desired type.
