Abstract:
The author of the worlds most famous science fiction comic books on African themes (Black Panther and Shuri) Nnedi Okorafor has set a new paradigmatic difference between Afrofutrism and African Futurism. Okoraphor focuses not on the abstract global Black, closely related to cultural hybridization and the position of Western culture, but on Africa as a source of tradition. Afrofuturism focused on the diasporas, while African Futurism focuses on the African context, roots and culture, which is clearly visible in a futuristic or fantastic setting.
