Abstract:
The experiences and interpretations of the world of different fala communities are conceived dynamically as cultural conceptualizations. The jeitinho brasileiro reveals a creative strategy for an emergency, oscillating between favour and corruption. In this article we carry out a microanalysis of a conversation between four professors, with the aim of analyzing in a multimodal way how the expression jeitinho brasileiro is co-constructed by means of conceptual metaphors at the linguistic and as metaphorical gestures, as well as prosodic cues, they are intrinsically present in this international process. We found seven cultural metaphors that reveal that the participants give interaction coconstroem or concept in questão (a) in a multimodal way, (b) preferentially from basic image schemes and by means of conceptual metaphors. The incorporation, especially of prosodic and gestural metaphors, was highlighted above all by the participants.
