Abstract:
The article explores whether foreign subsidiaries can work as organizations that neutralize the threat of marginalization of the post-transition economy in terms of the adoption of Industry 4.0 (I4.0). The results show that the strategy adopted by the headquarters is critical as it affects the ability of foreign subsidiaries to act as agents of I4.0 transformation in host countries.
