Abstract:
The article has developed a framework that focuses on the spatial, temporal and structural dimensions of digital crowdfunding platforms. We clarify how these three contextual dimensions influence the development of IO, namely the recognition, evaluation, and use of IO. We present three verifiable proposals, an illustrative example, and a future research agenda that provide a framework for research on IE in a digital context.
