Abstract:
The article focuses on whether Bitcoin is showing signs of heightened confidence as a store of value, a necessary condition for becoming a full-fledged currency. Using Bloomberg data for the period 20XX-20XX, we find a cointegrating relationship between the dollar prices of bitcoin, gold, and the Swiss franc.
