Abstract:
The article explores short-term and long-term asymmetric reactions of insurance premiums by decomposing into a partial sum of positive and negative changes in the geopolitical risk index. The results show that geopolitical risk affects insurance premiums in an asymmetric and non-linear manner except in India, but the transmission mechanism is different.
