Abstract:
The article analyzed economic and environmental performance in 61 developing countries along the Belt and Road. The results show that an additive measure of total factor productivity growth allows the individual country contributions to be aggregated along the BRI to construct a reasonable measure. Both desirable and undesirable results are taken into account. Growth in total factor productivity decomposes into economic and environmental contributions.
